Tyler joined the Calgary corporate branch of Raymond James Ltd. in January 2020 after working at a bank-owned investment dealer since 2011. Before that, he was a partner in a Calgary-based communications firm. Tyler's focus is on delivering and managing an attractive investment solution with low correlation to other asset classes, active equity discretionary management with core dividend-paying stocks, and smart fixed income selections. Tyler firmly believes that clients' interests are best served by taking a fully diversified portfolio approach to investing and employing the principles of dollar-cost-averaging to take advantage of market volatility and enhance returns. He works closely with clients in explaining investment strategies designed to generate income and/or improve portfolio returns, while keeping risk at acceptable levels.

What do these designations mean for you? They mean that when you work with an investment consultant who has taken the time to complete these designations, you’re working with someone who is well-versed in modern concepts of investment advice, is educated enough to understand how your individual investments are being managed and how they work together – no matter how complex it may be.
